Thanks to our asbestos inspection and survey, along with our operatives being asbestos awareness trained, we were able to identify asbestos on site and take appropriate action. In some areas this meant safely removing the asbestos, while in others it was left in place and work was able to continue around it. For example, some roofs were found to have asbestos tiles. For these properties we modified the original scope of work and used alternative solar clamps that required no drilling or cutting into the tiles.
We were asked by our client to facilitate the removal of waste from site. We were able to employ our third-party waste company who utilise an online booking system. This simplifies waste removal and provides the flexibility needed for this type of work.
The client also asked that we provided adequate welfare units and storage for materials on site. This was completed on short notice and within the budget set. This again proves our adaptability to the changing requirements of domestic renewable retrofit works.
